We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Junior Deskside Support Technician in our team
As a Junior Deskside Support Technician, you will be responsible for providing first-line technical support to end-users. This role involves troubleshooting hardware and software issues, setting up and configuring new hardware, and ensuring smooth operation of the organization's IT infrastructure. You will work closely with other IT team members to resolve technical problems and provide exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide on-site and remote technical support to end-users.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network-related issues.
• Install, configure, and maintain desktop and laptop computers, peripherals, and software.
• Assist with the setup and deployment of new hardware and software.
• Perform routine maintenance and updates on IT equipment.
• Document and track issues using the organization's ticketing system.
• Collaborate with other IT team members to identify and resolve recurring problems.
• Maintain an inventory of IT equipment and supplies.
What we are looking for
Bachelor's degree in computer related subject or equivalent work experience or appropriate professional certifications.
3+ years of IT work experience, with at least 2 years of experience working within the ServiceNow ITSM platform.
• Good Communication Skills, verbal and written
• Strong Microsoft Office skills
