Good Health Products Ltd is seeking a suitably qualified and experienced Social Media Specialist to support our digital marketing and online sales activities, with a particular focus on Chinese social media and live-commerce platforms.

Location: Albany of Auckland, New Zealand

Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent (minimum guaranteed 40 hours per week)

Pay rate: $31.25 – $35.00 per hour (before tax), depending on the applicant’s background and relevant work experience.

About the Role:

Good Health Products Ltd is seeking a suitably qualified and experienced Social Media Specialist to support our digital marketing and online sales activities, with a particular focus on Chinese social media and live-commerce platforms.

This role is critical to the business, requiring specialised skills in content creation, live-streaming sales, and cross-market communication between New Zealand and Chinese consumer markets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • ·       Develop and implement social media and live-commerce strategies to support brand growth, customer engagement, and online sales
  • ·       Plan, coordinate, and host live-streaming sessions for product promotion and real-time sales across relevant platforms
  • ·       Present and demonstrate products in a professional, engaging, and brand-aligned manner during live broadcasts
  • ·       Create, produce, and publish high-quality digital content, including short-form videos, livestreams, and interactive social media materials (minimum 5 promotional videos per month)
  • ·       Adapt content to suit different platforms and audience preferences, particularly for Chinese social media and live-commerce channels
  • ·       Manage, schedule, and monitor content across multiple social media platforms, ensuring consistency with brand guidelines
  • ·       Engage with online audiences in real time, responding to enquiries, comments, and feedback in a professional manner
  • ·       Analyse social media, website, and live-stream performance metrics, including engagement, reach, and conversion rates, and provide data-driven recommendations
  • ·       Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and platform updates to continuously improve content effectiveness and sales outcomes
  • ·       Maintain and update digital content across websites and e-commerce platforms, including product descriptions and promotional materials
  • ·       Collaborate with marketing, e-commerce, and product teams to align campaigns, product launches, and promotional activities
  • ·       Support stock promotion planning by aligning live-stream content with product availability and sales targets
  • ·       Ensure all content complies with company branding, regulatory requirements, and advertising standards
  • ·       Assist in training junior staff or team members in content creation and live-streaming practices where required

Skills and Experience:

  • ·       A relevant Bachelor’s degree or higher in Marketing, Digital Media, or a closely related field; or, a minimum of three years’ relevant work experience.
  • ·       Proven experience in social media content creation and live-streaming for product promotion or sales
  • ·       Demonstrated ability to present products confidently on camera and engage audiences during live sessions
  • ·       Strong understanding of social media platforms, including live-commerce tools and digital trends
  • ·       Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with diverse audiences
  • ·       Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple content schedules

Preferred Skills

  • ·       Experience in e-commerce, retail, or consumer products industries
  • ·       Knowledge of health supplements or wellness products
  • ·       Proficiency in Mandarin or Cantonese, to support engagement with key target markets

Additional Information

  • ·       This is a full-time role based in Auckland
  • ·       The position requires both creative and technical expertise in digital marketing and live-commerce
