We work on all makes of light vehicles and light commercials, completing mechanical and electrical repairs. This creates a varied work environment. We are looking for 1-2 experienced motor mechanics.

 Job Duties:

-Detecting and diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults in engines and parts.

-Dismantling and removing engine assemblies, transmissions, steering mechanisms and other.

-Repairing and replacing worn and defective part and reassembling mechanical components.

-Performing scheduled maintenance services, such as oil change, lubrication and engine.

-Tune-ups, to achieve smoother running of vehicles and ensure compliance with pollution.

-Testing and adjusting mechanical parts after being repaired for proper performance.

-Diagnosing and testing parts with the assistance of computers.

-Wheel alignment and balancing and repairing punctures.

Applicants must:

-Have minimum two-year experience as a motor mechanic

-Knowledge in vehicle parts, dismantling and reassembling components

-Knowledge in wheel alignment and balancing will be an advantage

-Experience in repairing Japanese and European vehicles

Pay rate starts from $29.50 per hour depending on skills and experience. Minimum 30 hours per week. Location: Hamilton
