We are seeking a highly skilled Carpenter with at least three years of relevant experience to
join our team working across Greater Auckland. This role offers an excellent opportunity to
work with a dedicated team on concrete formwork construction projects.
- Location: Greater Auckland area
- Work Type: Contract is only for a Fixed Term until December 2027
- Hours: Full-time, a minimum of 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday (7:00 am - 5:30 pm),
with occasional Saturdays (7:00 am - 2:00 pm)
- Hourly Rate: $26.69 to $32.00 per hour, with upskilling and training opportunities
Key Responsibilities:
- Creating forms for bridges, foundations, beams, and staircases
- Constructing structures on-site using wood, or assembling metal frames made elsewhere
- Dismantling casts without damage for reuse
- Measuring, cutting, and shaping wood and metal materials
- Working collaboratively with your team to pour concrete into moulds
- Ensuring the accuracy and quality of your work
- Producing concrete blocks to the exact specifications required
- Installing Doka, Startec, Mammut, and Mevadec systems
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years relevant carpentry experience
- Experience in building formwork concrete structures and Civil infrastructure is essential
- Full Driver’s Licence required
- Ability to pass an MOJ Check and a Drug Test
- Must have a full set of tools (including a drop saw)
- Must hold either SiteSafe or constructsafe
- Ability to work as part of a team and maintain a high standard of attendance
- Strong adherence to health and safety procedures
