We are seeking multiple Duty Managers to work at our Ngāruawāhia based Dairy store. The right person will be handling the operations of a busy Dairy which has great foot and vehicle traffic. This is a Position for anyone looking at organising and controlling the Dairy shop and ensuring it is always in a presentable manner. The Duty Managers will have the responsibility of the operations within the Organisation keeping in mind the Budget and profitability of the store.

Duration: Permanent, Full time – 30 hours Minimum per week, based on a rotating Roster

Pay rate:  $25.00 per hour, up to $35.00 per hour, based on Work Experience.

Location : Ngāruawāhia, Waikato

About the role:

Key Responsibilities of a Duty Manager

·         liaise with the team and handle Customers.

·         maintain stock level and Records of the Dairy.

·         Coordinate with junior staff and train Staff appropriately in different services provided at the Dairy.

·         Inventory and ordering of new stock

·         planning and preparing work schedules and assigning staff to specific duties

·         Responding to customer inquiries and complaints,

·         providing feedback in relation to the day-to-day operations of the Dairy to Manager / Owner.

·         Pricing of goods to be accurate and correctly displayed

·         Ensuring safety and security procedures are followed

 

We are looking for candidates with the following attributes:

·         Able to work a flexible schedule including weekends, and public holidays as per the Dairy timings from Monday to Sunday

·         Relevant Retail Experience of 2 years OR Relevant (level 2 or 3) qualification preferred. A bachelor’s degree or Post bachelor Higher qualification in any field, will be acceptable for this role.

·         Positive attitude, Building Rapport with Staff and Customers, and ability to thrive under pressure

·         Excellent communication skills and Handling customer professionally

·         Great presentation and Personal Hygiene, and willingness to work in a fast-paced environment.
