Ultimate Tyres Limited trading as Advantage The Tyre Professionals has
a fantastic opportunity for two Senior Tyre Technicians to join our team.
The role is based in Otahuhu, with occasional call-outs to customer locations for servicing and repairs.


Responsibilities for the role include:
● Performing tyre repair, servicing, and preventative maintenance on assigned vehicles, including fitments, repairs, rotations, pressure checks, inspections and data gathering of tyres on vehicles.
● Maintaining work tools and equipment in a clean & safe condition.
● Working as required in all aspects of a retail tyre store as required by management.
● Completing callouts as and when required, and completing job cards for all work carried out.
● Conducting stock takes as per the Stock Take System.
● Complete the required paperwork.
● Adhering to all OSH requirements to ensure a safe working.
environment exists at all times.
● Adhering to all quality standards set by the company.
● Ensuring store cleanliness is maintained to a high standard.


Requirements for the role include:
● At least three years of relevant experience.
● Able to do simple calculations and to understand work manuals and follow instructions.
● Full driver's licence.
● Knowledge of tyre fitting and balancing techniques.
● Ability to use tyre fitting and balancing equipment.

● Strong attention to detail.
● Good communication and customer service skills.
● Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
● Ability to lift heavy tyres and equipment.
● Ability to work in a physically demanding environment.
● Work will be performed in a workshop environment and via roadside assistance.
● Work may involve exposure to noise, dust, and grease.
● Physical demands include lifting and standing for extended periods.
● Be willing to undergo random drug tests while employed.
● Must be NZ Citizen, NZ Resident or eligible to work in NZ.


This is a full-time, permanent position with regular hours of 45 hours per
week, Monday-Friday, 7.00 AM-5.00 PM. You will be required to work
weekends as part of the roster.
The hourly rate is between $30 to $35, depending on experience.
