Ruby Services Limited is seeking Commercial Cleaners to join its team in the Bay of Plenty region. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, reliable, and committed to maintaining high cleaning standards.

The role requires travel within the region, and the cost of travel and fuel will be covered by the employer.

Key Duties:

  • Perform cleaning tasks including vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping various floor surfaces. 
  • Clean and dust ceilings, light fittings, tables, and movable furniture.
  • Sanitize and disinfect sinks, toilets, and kitchen appliances.
  • Collect and properly dispose of waste and rubbish.
  • Clean interior and exterior windows as required.
  • Coordinate with the line manager to ensure adequate stock of cleaning supplies.
  • Identify and report any damages or breakages observed during cleaning.
  • Notify the line manager of any maintenance or repair issues. 
  • Carry out any additional duties as assigned by management.

Required to work for a minimum of 30 hours per week, and you will be paid between $25 to $30 per hour. 

Other Requirements:

  • Relevant work experience is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Clean and valid Driver’s License.
  • Available to work mornings, evenings, and weekends as required.
  • Physically fit to perform various tasks.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Must be available for a pre-employment drug test.
  • A clear Ministry of Justice (MOJ) check is required
