- $45 to $50 per hour + penalty rates + 12% super
- Penalty rate: Time and a half from hour 39, double time above 40 hours
- Most guys on the tools are clocking 60 plus hours a week. The earning potential here is real.

You will be based out of the workshop in Campbellfield, Melbourne with travel to project sites nationally when required. This is high-precision stainless steel pipe fitting and TIG welding work in a strict QA environment. X-ray weld inspection applies on oil and gas and defence projects.
Day to day you will be across:
- Fabricating, fitting, and installing stainless steel pipework and tube systems
- TIG welding including purge welds and hygienic welds
- Reading and interpreting isometric drawings, P&IDs, and fabrication drawings
- Installing valves, pumps, and associated process equipment
- Pressure testing and commissioning support
- Maintaining QA documentation to ISO and AS/NZS standards
- Keeping workshop and site areas clean, organised, and compliant
What We Need
- Trade qualification in engineering, fabrication, or welding
- Proven stainless steel pipe fitting and TIG welding experience
- Ability to produce high-quality purge welds
- Strong ability to read technical drawings including isometrics and P&IDs
- Knowledge of AS/NZS standards and QA documentation
- Coachable attitude and genuine work ethic — skills matter, but so does how you show up
