Welder – Hawke’s Bay

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Welder to join our engineering team based in the Hawke’s Bay region. This is a hands-on full time role suited to someone with solid experience in fabrication and welding, who takes pride in producing high-quality work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out welding and fabrication work in accordance with job specifications
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings and plans
  • Operate welding equipment safely and efficiently
  • Ensure all work meets quality and safety standards
  • Assist with general engineering and workshop duties as required

Pay and Hours:

  • $30.00 to $35.00 per hour (depending on experience)
  • Minimum guaranteed 30 hours per week
  • Additional hours may be available based on workload

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of relevant experience, or a relevant qualification (Level 4 or higher)
  • Strong knowledge of welding techniques and fabrication processes
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
  • Good attention to detail and workmanship
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team
