About the Role
Blockhouse Bay Barber Limited, a growing salon based in Blockhouse Bay, Auckland, is seeking a talented and passionate Hairdresser to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a friendly and creative environment, delivering high-quality male and female hairdressing services including cutting, colouring, and styling, while providing exceptional customer service and helping clients look and feel their best

What you'll be doing

1. Cutting, styling, colouring, and treating hair
2. Consulting with clients to understand their needs and preferences
3. Recommending suitable hair care products and treatments
4. Maintaining a clean and hygienic work environment
5. Managing appointments and maintaining client records
6. Delivering high-quality services in line with industry standards

What we're looking for

1. Relevant qualification (e.g. Level 4 Certificate in Hairdressing) or at least 3 years of relevant work experience
2. Strong communication and customer service skills
3. Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Other Details

1. Guaranteed minimum of 30 hours per week
2. Hours may include weekends and late evenings
3. Permanent, ongoing position
