No prior experience is required; however, applicants must be reliable, physically fit, and willing to work in different environments. On‑the‑job training will be provided for the right candidates. The role may occasionally require travel out of town; travel costs will be covered by the employer.

Applicants must have at least 2 contactable references, a clean criminal record, and a valid driver’s licence.

Job Description Summary:

  • Carry out general construction labouring duties to support site operations.
  • Follow instructions and comply with all health and safety requirements.
  • Assist tradespeople with construction tasks as required.
  • Prepare work areas and maintain clean and safe sites.
  • Loading and unloading building materials, machinery, and tools and distributing them to construction or road sites.
  • Handling, moving, and positioning materials as required.
  • Assisting with mixing, pouring, and spreading concrete or other aggregate mixtures using portable cement or aggregate mixers, under supervision.
