About the Role

We are seeking a capable Systems Administrator to support the operation, maintenance, and optimisation of IT systems and infrastructure across both internal environments and client projects.

This role is responsible for ensuring the reliability, performance, and security of systems, as well as supporting the implementation of new technologies and infrastructure solutions.

The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining system stability, resolving technical issues, and contributing to the continuous improvement of IT services.

 

Key Responsibilities

- Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, servers, and network infrastructure to support business operations.

- Monitor system performance and ensure high availability, reliability, and security of IT systems.

- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls in accordance with organisational policies.

- Perform system upgrades, patches, and routine maintenance to ensure systems remain up to date.

- Troubleshoot and resolve system, server, and network-related issues in a timely manner.

- Support data backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity processes.

- Assist in the deployment and maintenance of cloud-based infrastructure and services.

- Maintain technical documentation, system configurations, and operational procedures.

- Collaborate with internal teams and external clients to deliver effective IT solutions.

 

Candidate Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and experience:

- A Bachelor’s degree or higher in Information Technology or a related discipline.

- Relevant experience in systems administration or IT infrastructure is preferred.

- Strong knowledge of Windows and/or Linux server environments.

- Experience with network administration, system security, and cloud platforms.

- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and implement solutions.

- Good communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
