We are looking for a hands-on Production Team Leader to manage our Repacking Operations. This is a vital role for a proactive professional who excels at balancing team leadership with technical floor operations. The Job:

  • Full-time permanent 
  • $26 - $28 per hour
  • Location: Aerovisa Place, Wiri
  • Roster: Monday to Friday
  • Hours: 7.00 am to 3.30 pm (approx.)

The role:

You will play a key part in ensuring our department runs while smoothly fostering a positive and productive work environment. Some of the key responsibilities are:

Inventory & Stock: Maintain levels via system reports and manage replenishment.

Machine Ops: Operate semi-auto and fully automatic repacking machinery.

Food Safety: Ensure strict hygiene standards and daily cleaning compliance.

Fulfilment: Oversee accurate picking and packing of orders.

Logistics: Handle forklift operations and deliveries to branches and customers.

Admin: Use basic computer systems for stock checks and reporting.

Health & Safety: Strictly adhere to food safety standards and observe H&S protocols.

The person: 

You will have a deep understanding of ethnic food items and their handling, quality control, and dispatch processes. You will ideally have relevant experience leading a team either in the packaging or the warehousing industry.

This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who:

  • Has NZQCF Level 4 qualification or above with a year of experience in packaging or Warehouse, or at least 3 years of relevant work experience in a food environment.
  • Current valid forklift license or willing to have one.
  • A Class 2 Driver's License will be advantageous.
  • Experience in delivery driving will be advantageous.
  • Thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced setting.
  • Possess strong communication, leadership and team-building skills.
  • Have a proven track record of achieving operational efficiency.
  • Is physically fit and strong, as some heavy lifting is involved.
