Store Manager

Job Description : We are looking for a dynamic Store Manager to manage our busy store located in Putaruru. This is a permanent, full-time role and we offer a minimum guaranteed 30 hours per week of work. We offer competitive remuneration based on qualification and/or experience.

The Role:

• As Store Manager you will plan, lead, communicate, organise and control the day-to-day running of the store to achieve the highest possible standards.
• You must have a high attention to detail and love working in a busy environment.
• Responsible for, stock control and management, including accurate stocktaking.
• Deciding on product pricing and responsible for establishing marketing and purchasing policies to increase revenue.
• Monitor and check staff performance.
• Responsible for recruitment and training of new staff.
• Prepare monthly reports and budgeting.
• Being able to understand and offer the best service and products to our customers.
• You will be responsible for driving sales and promotions, providing excellent customer service and ensuring the store is compliant with all company policies and Health & Safety regulations.

About You:

• At least a Diploma or above level qualification to efficiently carry out the role responsiblities.
• In the absence of qualification, proven experience in a retail environment OR related role is strongly preferred.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• A commitment to driving sales and achieving outstanding results.
• Stock management expertise, understanding the importance of this.
