Concrete Truck Driver

Job Duties (but not limited to):

• Operate a concrete mixer truck to deliver ready-mix concrete to various construction sites.
• Ensure safe delivery of concrete to the correct location within the specified time.
• Communicate with a dispatcher to verify delivery schedules and requirements.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the truck and equipment to ensure it is in goodworking condition.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, hours worked, and other required documentation.
• Assist with loading and unloading the truck and ensure the concrete meets specifications.
• Manage routes and routines so they proceed in the most effective way possibly.
• Find ways to conserve resources, including fuel, to benefit the business.
• Conduct daily inspection of vehicle prior start of shift and end of shift, report any
  problems or damage to the owner.
• Report any issues with equipment or deliveries to the supervisor.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.
• Any other duties asked by management from time to time for e.g. Cleanliness of unit
  inside/outside, organise the toolbox and keep the gear Clean.
  
  A successful candidate must have:
• Full class 4 Driving License Or equivalent overseas license.
• Ability to work in varying weather conditions.
• Must be Physically Fit as job can be physically demanding sometimes.
• Can pass a drug test
• Ability to start Early Moring
• Other Details:
  - Pay Rate: From $29 to $34 based on work experience
  - Minimum Hours per week: Min 30 hours – max 50 Hours
  - Work Days: Mon to Sat with minimum 2 day off per week. 
  - Work Hours: Hours include early morning starts and alternate satuday shifts.
  - Location: Christchurch and surrounding areas.
  - Number of position: 1
