We are seeking skilled Hammerhands for a variety of projects around Christchurch

As a Hammerhand, you will play an essential role in assisting carpenters and working across a variety of construction projects

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assisting with the construction, assembly and installation of wooden structures, frameworks, and fixtures
  • Operating a range of hand and power tools
  • Adhering to all health and safety regulations
  • Working collaboratively with team members to deliver projects on time

OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

  • A minimum of 2 years experience working as a Hammerhand on building sites
  • A can-do attitude and willingness to learn and adapt
  •  A strong understanding of tools, equipment, and building materials
  • Commitment to safety in the workplace. Your own basic hand and power tools
  • Be physically fit and capable of moving heavy materials
  • You will also need to hold a current Site Safe and be to pass a pre employment drug test
