Job Details:

• Hourly rate: $29.00 - $32.00

• Full time:  30 - 50 hours per week

• Working place: Auckland Region 

Job Description : The role will include, but not limited to:

• Study and interpret drawings, plans, and specifications to determine materials required and installation procedures. 

• Cut, shape, and assemble timber and other materials using hand tools, power tools, and machinery. 

• Repair and maintain existing timber structures, including planks, frames, and fittings. 

• Construct and establish frameworks for buildings, including walls, floors, and roof structures. 

• Erect framework and roof framing, lay floorboards, and ensure structural accuracy and alignment. 

• Install fascia panels, roof sheathing, ceiling battens, exterior wall cladding, and door and window frames. 

• Assemble prepared timber components to form structures and fittings ready for installation. 

• Cut wood joints and connections using appropriate tools and machinery. 

• Construct concrete formwork as required. 

• Work with non-timber materials, including metals, plastic laminates, and Perspex, when necessary. 

• Perform other duties reasonably required by the employer or business owner in line with the occupation.

Job pre-requisites: 

• At least 2 years relevant working experience with verified evidence (experiences gained in the same industry could be considered as meeting the experience requirements)

• Relevant qualifications are preferable but not a must

• Attention to details and a hard-working attitude.

• physically capable of performing heavy work be able to work overtime 

• excellent work ethics and great time management passion for the industry.

• The successful candidate must not have any criminal convictions
