About the Role
You’ll be working across residential and commercial sites, completing a wide range of brick, block, and stonework. We’re looking for bricklayers who can work unsupervised, read plans accurately, and deliver high‑quality workmanship on every project.
Key Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Laying bricks, blocks, and stone to plans and specifications
- Reading and interpreting drawings and site plans
- Mixing and applying mortar correctly
- Ensuring all work is level, plumb, and finished to a high standard
- Conducting repairs, maintenance, and general masonry tasks
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised work site
- Working autonomously or as part of a team
- Adhering to all Health & Safety requirements
- Monday–Friday work, with Saturday mornings often available
- Minimum 2 years of bricklaying experience
- Strong knowledge of masonry techniques and materials
- Physically fit with good stamina
- Own transport and basic tools
- Ability to read and interpret plans
- Current Site Safe licence (essential)
- Strong communication skills and ability to follow instructions
- Reliable, punctual, and hardworking attitude
- From $32 per hour
- Performance‑based reviews

You will:
- Attend toolbox talks and all H&S meetings
- Follow all safety guidelines and procedures
- Hold a current Site Safe passport (or equivalent)
- Report all near misses, injuries, or unsafe work immediately
