Are you a skilled and reliable Drainlayer looking for your next opportunity? We are seeking an experienced Drainlayer to join our team and help deliver high-quality infrastructure and drainage solutions across residential and commercial projects.

As a Drainlayer, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining drainage systems in accordance with New Zealand standards and regulations. You’ll work alongside a supportive team to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Install and maintain stormwater and wastewater drainage systems
  • Read and interpret plans and specifications
  • Excavate trenches and lay pipes to correct grades
  • Carry out repairs and upgrades to existing drainage systems
  • Ensure compliance with all health & safety regulations
  • Work collaboratively with site supervisors and other trades

Skills & Experience

  • At least 2 years proven experience or NZQA Level 4 National Certificate in Drainlaying (or equivalent)
  • Current Plumbers, Gasfitters and Drainlayers Board registration (or working towards it)
  • Ability to read plans and use laser levels
  • Strong understanding of NZ building and drainage codes
