Earn up to $95k leading scaffold crews in QLD. Company vehicle, cert funding, and a permanent role with a growing contractor. Start ASAP.
Why Apply

Still subcontracting or stuck on the tools without the pay to match your experience?

BT Scaffolds is a Queensland scaffolding contractor on the move. They work across general access, tricky access, and marine scaffolding, and they need a leading hand who can run a crew, read drawings, and get the job done properly. This is a full-time permanent role with a direct line to the boss and real room to grow.
  • Earn up to $95k+ (base $40–$45/hr + overtime penalties + super)
  • Company vehicle provided for the leading hand, no running your own rig to site
  • Varied, technical work across access environments including tricky access and marine scaffolding
  • Cert funding available, basic, intermediate, and advanced tickets covered by the company for the right person
  • Small and growing crew where your leadership actually shapes how the business runs
  • Permanent full-time work in QLD, no FIFO, no contracts, just steady consistent employment
The Role

You will be leading a crew of two to three scaffolders across a range of access environments in Queensland. Work runs yard to yard, load up at the yard, travel to site, complete the scope, return and unload. The company vehicle is yours for the job.

Day to day you will be:
  • Leading crews of two to three on site, delegating tasks and managing workflow
  • Reading and executing scaffold drawings and scopes of work
  • Erecting, modifying, and dismantling scaffolds to Australian Standards
  • Keeping quality control tight and running a safe, compliant site
  • Liaising with supervisors, clients, and other trades on site
  • Loading and unloading equipment at the yard as part of the daily run
What We Need
  • MR licence or higher, this is non-negotiable
  • Solid scaffolding experience at intermediate or advanced level
  • Previous leading hand or supervisory experience running a crew
  • Ability to read scaffold drawings and interpret scopes of work
  • Strong grasp of site safety and Australian Standards compliance
  • Valid Australian work rights, NZ citizens and PR holders strongly encouraged to apply
  • Physically fit and ready to work in demanding access environments
Why This Role

At $40 to $45 per hour plus overtime penalties, you are earning well above what most NZ scaffolding roles pay, in a permanent full-time position with job security and a company vehicle on top.

BT Scaffolds is actively growing and wants a leading hand who can grow with them into more complex and specialist access work. If you have the skills and the work ethic, Bassel wants to hear from you today.
