As a trusted partner to primary, secondary and tertiary institutions, we prioritise professional development and cultural inclusivity, and now seek a Training Officer to enhance our training and educator support services.
Main duties of this role
• Conduct training needs analysis for both internal team members and the global educators in the company’s HR supply chain, aligning with the company’s service objectives and client requirements to identify skill gaps.
• Design and develop tailored training materials, including workshop guides, e-learning content, handouts and assessment tools, focusing on teacher professional development, classroom management and alignment with international curricula.
•Facilitate in-person, virtual and hybrid training for newly recruited educators, covering onboarding, NZ education system, cultural adaptation, teaching best practices and foreign educator compliance.
• Deliver regular professional development sessions for internal staff on recruitment processes, client service, and updates on global education trends and the company’s service offerings.
• Support the integration of skilled educators into diverse school curricula by providing targeted training on curriculum alignment and teaching methodologies.
• Evaluate training effectiveness through participant feedback, assessments, and follow-up surveys, continuously refine training programs to improve outcomes for educators and internal teams.
• Maintain accurate training records, attendance logs and progress reports, ensuring compliance with internal policies and client reporting requirements.
• Collaborate with internal departments and external partners to ensure training content is relevant, timely and meets stakeholder needs.
• Assist in updating and expanding the company’s training portfolio, including teacher training and professional development programs, to support the company’s objectives.
Pay rate: minimum $30 per hour - maximum $40 per hour
Guaranteed hours of work per week: minimum 30 hours
Requirements for the job:
• Hold a bachelor's degree in a related field or minimum of 2 years of relevant working experience
• Proficiency in basic e-learning tools and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for creating training materials
• Full time availability
