You will be carrying out metal re-roofing works across residential and occasional commercial sites on the Gold Coast and surrounding SE Queensland, with some travel into northern NSW. The work is predominantly insurance-driven, which means consistent pipeline and a structured approach to every job.

- Stripping and replacing metal roofing on residential re-roofing jobs
- Managing insurance re-roofing documentation and scope requirements
- Identifying and reporting site issues including structural damage, rot, and scope variations
- Delivering clean, defect-free work with zero call-backs
- Keeping jobs on schedule and meeting insurer deadlines
- Working independently on site and owning the job from start to finish
- Building toward and taking on leading hand responsibilities over time
What We Need
- Proven hands-on experience in metal re-roofing, this is not a role for someone still learning the basics
- A current driver's licence
- Ability to work independently and take full ownership of a job without needing to be managed
- A track record of clean workmanship, no defects, no call-backs, and references that back it up
- Understanding of insurance re-roofing processes, scope documentation, and variation reporting
- Good attitude and the ability to work professionally with clients, insurers, and crew
- Comfortable with some travel into SE QLD and northern NSW as part of the role
