Looking for Scaffolder Supervisors

As a result of our growth, we’re looking for a two scaffold supervisor/installer to add to our team. Scaffold experience is a must however we will provide in house training on all of our other products. We offer competitive rates in an enjoyable work environment where we value our team members.

Pay rate: $28 to $32 per hour

Hours of work: Min 30 Max 50 per week

 

On occasion there will be jobs that require you to work Saturday and longer hours and require to travel with other members of the team. 

Job description

       Assist in the safe erection, modification, and dismantling of scaffolding structures and safety systems.

       Carry and organize scaffolding materials, fittings, and tools to support daily operations.

       Maintain a clean and safe yard, ensuring materials are stacked and stored properly.

       Assist in loading and unloading trucks.

       Working with other employees and contractors to ensure site safety standards are met.

       Providing customers and clients with outstanding services and information.

       Supervising scaffold installations to ensure compliance with safety standards.

       Creating comprehensive gear lists to ensure the correct materials are taken to jobs.

       Follow all health and safety procedures, including correct use of PPE and hazard awareness and attending health and safety meetings

       Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure tasks are completed efficiently.

       Undertake training and development to progress further.

       Perform other general labouring duties as required.

 Job requirements

      Atleast three years of experience as a Scaffolder 

       Able to supervise, plan and inspect Scaffold installations

       Can work unsupervised or as part of a team.

       Able to safely drive vehicles and follow the road rules (ability to drive manual would be preferred)

       A full, clean driver’s license (equivalent to NZ Class 1 and or NZ Class 2)

       Very competent written and verbal English communication skills

       A commitment to health and safety and following our company policies

       Professional temperament and flexibility with the ability to cope in pressure environment
