Carpenter

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform general carpentry work (repairs, framing, doors, windows, decking,
fencing)
• Install and repair cabinetry, shelves, skirting, architraves, and trims
• Repair and maintain existing structures
• Measure, cut, and assemble materials accurately
• Ensure work complies with NZ Building Code and health & safety regulations
• Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean worksite
• Minor plumbing and electrical support (non-certified work only)
• Door and window adjustments
• Draught sealing
• Gutter repairs and cleaning
• Wall patching, plastering, and painting touch-ups
• Install insulation, ventilation, and basic fixtures where required
• Identify maintenance issues and report to supervisors or property managers
• Ensure all work meets Healthy Homes Standards where applicable
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Communicate clearly with tenants, property managers, and team members

Requirement :

• A minimum of two years of relevant carpentry experience
• Physically fit as this position sometimes involves handling heavy lifting
• Ability to work as part of a team and independently when required
• Ability to deliver high-quality workmanship and meeting the standard and
deadlines.
