We are looking for a qualified retail manager who has New Zealand working experienceand has excellent knowledge of bathroomware products, to promote our retail businesses for two branches in Northshore and East Tamaki, to a new high level, to enhance our business image and reputation in the industry. We hope our business receives benefits from your extended understanding of bathroomware products, technical product advice and high standard of customer services, The position is Permanent, working minimum30hours shifted Monday to Saturday to meet operational requirements. 

Requirements: 

  • Master’s degree in relevant industry or higher;
  • And have at least 6-month relevant working experience in New Zealand.
  • Strong product knowledge in bathroomware, including fixtures, fittings, and design trends.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and customer service skills.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Ability to drive sales performance and meet revenue targets through effective merchandising and upselling techniques.
  • Inventory management and stock control experience to ensure optimal product availability and minimise losses.
  • Problem-solving and conflict resolution skills to handle customer complaints andafter-sales issues professionally.
  • Mandarin speaking is preferable 

Duties and responsibilities: 

  • Responsible for company retail business planning, organizing, and control of theshops operation.
  • You are required to undertake the retail shops budgeting, to control the operatingexpenditures and staff costs, to maximize the shop sales and profits.
  • To analysis competitor’s information, perform sales promotion, determine the retail prices and the terms of discount.
  • Responsible for retail shop purchasing, stock management and control the stocklevel of the shops;
  • Maintaining records of stock level and financial transactions
  • You are in charge of retail shops staff hiring and firing, including job interview, training, evaluating of staff performance.
  • Provide a high standard customer service as a role model to other staff, and supporting all other staff in their customer service within the business.
  • Responsible for maintaining customer relations and resolving customer complaints.
  • To ensure the store operation is in compliance with the occupational health andsafety regulations.

Location: Auckland 

Position: Retail Manager 

Wage: $28.00-$35.00 hourly rate 

Hours of work: Minimum 30 hours per week, Maximum 50 hours per week, shifted byroster from Monday to Saturday
