Swachh Group Limited is a busy commercial cleaning company. We have 2 x Cleaning Area Manager position available with an immediate start based in Waikato. Our company is looking for someone reliable and ready to progress with our company. The job involves working in evening and late nights. You have to lead and motivate a team of commercial cleaners’ player with attention to detail and maintain the high standards of customer service. You should have at least a Diploma in Business Administration, Management, or a related field or at least 1 year of proven experience in a supervisory role or a similar managerial role in the commercial cleaning industry.

Position Purpose: The purpose of the Cleaning Control Manager is to lead and supervise a cleanings team to ensure targets are met and quality of work can be maintained. You will be overseeing the Quality and Training process of the business by communicating with cleaning teams, management and clients. You will also be dealing with customers face to face.

The day-to-day duties involves:

  • Managing workflow of the sites under your management
  • Training new hires
  • Supervise the rest of the cleaning crew
  • Creating and managing team schedules and coordinating staff and Operations Management
  • Reports to HR and Senior Management
  • Conducting H&S meetings with staff and Managing H&S at workplace
  • Evaluating performance and providing feedback
  • Identifying and applying career advancement opportunities
  • Helping to resolve employee’s issues and disputes
  • performing specialized services to ensure all areas and equipment are clean
  • communicating with other departments
  • Day to day cleaning
  • Must be physically able to work within a manual handling environment
  • Vendor and Supplier Relations Client liaison and relationship building

To be considered for this role you should have Diploma in Business Administration, Management, or a related field or at least 1 year of proven experience in a supervisory role or a similar managerial role in the commercial cleaning industry. You should be able to provide previous verifiable work references.

Preference will be given to candidates who are already in New Zealand and has relevant work experience.

All suitable candidates should be able to pass a drug test and a Ministry of Justice/Police check when required.
