DG Group Limited is seeking experienced Skilled Carpenters for full-time permanent roles in Auckland. Applicants must have at least 3 years’ carpentry experience or a trade qualification, be able to read plans, and have their own transport and tools. Duties include framing, cladding, and interior finishing. Pay ranges from $30–$35 per hour based on experience, with a guaranteed minimum of 30 hours per week.
DG Group Limited is a growing construction company based in Auckland, specialising in residential and commercial building projects. We are currently seeking experienced and hardworking Skilled Carpenters to join our fast-growing team for ongoing projects commencing in early 2026.
This is a full-time permanent position with a guaranteed minimum of 30 hours per week, with additional hours available depending on project requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Tasks include, but are not limited to:
• Timber framing and installation of trusses
• Site set-out and measurements based on plans
• Exterior cladding installation
• Interior finishing work, including installation of:
• windows
• doors
• stairs
• skirting and finishing trims
• Reading and interpreting building plans and specifications
• Maintaining high standards of workmanship
• Complying with all health and safety requirements on site
• Working independently and as part of a team
Minimum Requirements
To be considered for this role, applicants must have:
• At least 3 years of relevant carpentry work experience,
OR
• A recognised trade qualification / carpentry certificate
• Ability to read and interpret building plans
• Good physical fitness and ability to perform manual work
• Own transport to travel to Auckland job sites
• Own basic carpentry tools
• Current Site Safe passport/licence, or willingness to obtain one
• MEWP or Working at Heights licence is preferred but not essential
