We are seeking a motivated and skilled Electrical Trade Assistant to join our team in Christchurch. This is a full-time position, offering the opportunity to work on a variety of commercial electrical projects within the Canterbury region.
Hours of work are generally 07:30am to 5:00pm Monday to Friday.

What you'll be doing
- Assisting qualified electricians with the installation, maintenance and repair of electrical systems and equipment in commercial properties
- Pulling cables and assisting the team on site where required
- Ensuring all work is carried out to the highest safety standards
- Maintaining a clean and organised work environment
- Some prior experience in the electrical trade or a related field
- A keen interest in learning and developing your electrical skills
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
- Good communication and customer service skills
- A commitment to workplace health and safety
- The ability to work as part of a team or independently as required
- Full class 1 licence preferred (restricted as a minimum)
- Good level of fitness due to the nature of the role
- Site Safe
- Any Other Tickets e.g. EWP, Working at Heights
- Good rates of weekly pay
- Permanent opportunity
