We are looking for an experienced freezer and inventory operator to join our lamb processing operation on a permanent full-time basis. You will be responsible for accurate stock management, product rotation, and the efficient loadout of product, bringing previous experience in a freezer, coldstore, or meat processing environment along with a current forklift licence. About the Role

Working within our freezer operation, you will play a key role in ensuring accurate inventory management and the efficient and timely loadout of product to our customers. This is a physically demanding role working in a chilled and frozen environment, and requires someone who is organised, accurate, and takes pride in doing the job right.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Accurately recording and maintaining freezer inventory — receiving, locating, and rotating stock
  • Preparing and executing product loadouts to meet customer orders and despatch schedules
  • Operating forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently
  • Ensuring product is stored correctly in accordance with food safety and quality requirements
  • Completing all documentation accurately including stock records, load sheets, and despatch paperwork
  • Communicating effectively with the production, quality, and logistics teams
  • Maintaining a clean, safe, and well-organised freezer environment
  • Complying with all health and safety, hygiene, and food safety requirements at all times.
