We prefer the candidates who have:
At least two years of proven relevant working experience
OR you have qualification of NZ Certificate in Carpentry (Level 4) or equivalent
Ability to interpret blueprints, sketches or building plans
High proficiency in using of tools and equipment
Strong and practical carpentry techniques
Commitment to safety guidelines
Physically fit for building work Description of the role
Studying building plans and drawings to determine materials and installation methods
Measure, cut, and shape wood and other materials
Ordering and selecting timbers and materials
Construct and install building frameworks, roof framing, and door frames
Install structures and fixtures, such as windows, frames, floorings, and trim.
Inspect, replace and repair damaged framework or other structures and fixtures.
Attach fascia panels, install roof sheathing and apply exterior wall cladding.
Follow established safety rules and regulations and maintain a safe and clean environment.
Competitive pay range: $29-$36 per hour based on skills and experience
Flexible working location: Auckland Region Projects
Guaranteed minimum working hours: 40 hours per week, may require to work on Saturday
