Retail Manager – Auckland

J S EUREKA LIMITED (A2Z) is seeking a full-time Retail Manager to join our team in Henderson, Auckland. As Store Manager, you will take full responsibility for overseeing the daily operations of the store and ensuring our customers receive the excellent shopping experience they deserve. Located in the heart of the Rotorua community, our store provides an essential service to local residents and visitors alike.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Overseeing and managing the day-to-day operations of the retail store
  • Determining product mix, inventory levels, and service standards
  • Establishing and implementing purchasing and marketing policies, including setting product prices
  • Promoting store products and services to maximise sales and customer engagement
  • Assisting customers with product selection and providing advice on product use
  • Maintaining accurate records of inventory levels and financial transactions
  • Managing store budgets and monitoring operational performance
  • Recruiting, training, and supervising retail staff
  • Ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety regulations and company policies

What we’re looking for:

  • Minimum 2 years’ relevant retail or management experience, or a Diploma in Management, or a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline
  • A confident leader with experience managing or supervising a small team
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to engage effectively with customers and staff
  • High standards of professionalism, attention to detail, and integrity
  • Strong problem-solving ability and a proactive approach to improving store operations
  • A positive, can-do attitude with a commitment to delivering excellent customer service

Role Details:

  • Location: Rotorua
  • Employment Type: Permanent Full-time
  • Minimum Guaranteed Hours: At least 30 hours per week (up to 48 hours)
  • Pay Rate: $28.00 – $32.00 per hour (depending on experience and qualifications)
