Volk Waterproofing Limited is seeking experienced Waterproofing Technicians to join our
growing team.

About the Role.

These full-time, permanent roles provide consistent work across multiple
Auckland sites, depending on project requirements. This position is suited to individuals with
proven practical experience in waterproofing systems who can work independently and
deliver high-quality results.
What We Offer
 Guaranteed minimum of 30 hours per week
 Competitive remuneration: $25–$50 per hour, depending on experience
 Full-time, permanent employment
 Company vehicle provided where required
 PPE and essential tools supplied
Key Responsibilities
 Install and maintain waterproof membrane systems on residential and commercial
buildings, covering all aspects of waterproofing work, such as roofs and decks,
internal wet areas like bathrooms and kitchens, surfaces designed for foot or vehicle
traffic as well as non-trafficable areas, and below-ground tanks
 Prepare surfaces to meet technical specifications and project requirements
 Identify and correct defects in waterproofing installations
 Assist with caulking in masonry or concrete remediation as needed
 Ensure all work meets safety standards and company quality expectations
Additional Skills (Advantageous)
 Fabricating or modifying metal and aluminium drainage components (sumps, scuppers, gutters, outlets)
 MIG/TIG welding for custom waterproofing solutions
 Measuring and producing custom-fitted components
Requirements
 Minimum of 2+ years’ practical experience in waterproofing
 Knowledge of torch-on membranes, TPO, PVC, EPDM and liquid-applied systems
 Ability to work independently across multiple sites
 Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

 Physically fit, reliable, and safety-conscious
 Additional experience in welding, fabrication, or complex/custom projects is an
advantage
 Relevant trade certificates or licences are welcome but not essential, including
overseas qualifications
