We are looking for experienced Thai Massage Therapists to join our team.

Requirements 

The successful applicants must have one of the following requirements.

• At least 2 years of experience working in an authentic Thai Massage business, OR

• A related qualification (at NZ Register Diploma level or higher, overseas qualifications must be comparable to the standard of the New Zealand qualification), OR

• The National Skill Standard Testing Level 1 (Traditional Thai Massage) from Thailand

Job Descriptions

  • Greet and prepare clients prior to treatments, including assessing client physical condition and case history

  • Perform a range of therapeutic massage modalities including Traditional Thai Massage, Aromatherapy, Sports, Deep Tissue, Relaxation, Foot Reflexology, Thai Herbal Compress, Hot Stone, Pregnancy, and Facial Massage

  • Administer treatments to promote relaxation, improve circulation, and relieve muscle tension

  • Provide ongoing treatment recommendations and advise clients on stretching exercises and relaxation techniques to improve overall well-being

  • Maintain responsibility for the cleanliness and hygiene of treatment rooms, equipment, and products in accordance with health and safety standards

  • Perform reception duties including managing client bookings and scheduling appointments

  • Perform other related tasks as required

 

Other detail 

• This is a full-time and permanent position

• Wage payment from $26 to $35 per hour, depending on experience and skills, and you will be paid weekly.

• Holiday pay and sick leave will be paid according to the law

• You will be working at 519A High Street, Lower Hutt

• We open from Tue - Sun 10.00 am – 7.00 pm. You will work according to a roaster 5 - 6 days each week with a guarantee of 30 hours (a maximum of 48 hours)
