Retail Assistants

Lulu Mart Asian Supermarket is an Asian supermarket in Wānaka. It opens 7 days from 10:30 am to 8 pm.

We are looking for two (2) retail assistants to help look after the store and ensure the smooth running of our day-to-day operations. The key tasks and responsibilities are:

• advising customers on product information, prices, product usage and product care based on their requirements and needs.
• explaining and selling the supermarket’s products to customers.
• organising, stacking and displaying products for sale.
• taking payments from customers by a variety of payment methods, generating sales invoices/receipts and packing products sold to customers.
• assisting with the ongoing management of stock levels by monitoring product stock and participating in stock takes.

• be able to comply with our health and safety and retail guidelines. 

Qualification Requirements: EITHER completed compulsory secondary education OR a NZQF level one qualification. 

On-the-job training is available, and no relevant experience is required.
