We are seeking for Passive Fire Installers/Technicians

Job Descriptions:

1) Install passive fire protection systems (firestopping, fire doors, bulkheads, penetration seals, and other related systems) according to specifications, drawings, and compliance standards.

2) Carry out quality assurance (Q.A.) checks and document work in line with project and regulatory requirements.

3) Build and install bulkheads and fire-rated systems to meet New Zealand Building Code standards.

4) Work closely with fire engineers, site foremen, and project managers to ensure compliance with fire safety requirements.

5) Read and interpret construction plans and technical drawings.

6) Assist with inspections and sign-off processes to confirm installation meets compliance standards.

7) Maintain a high standard of health & safety practices on site.

 

 

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED 

At least 2 - 3 years of relevant experience

Physically Fit

Strong ability to install to specifications and compliance requirements

Strong problem solving skills and ability to work independently as well as in a team

 

This is a full time and permanent position.  Work up to 56 hours per week with minimum guaranteed 40 hours per week. Monday through Saturday, between the hours of 7:00am to 7:00pm. Pay rates from $32 to $36.75 per hour, depending on skills and experience.
