We are currently seeking a skilled and reliable Mechanical Engineer / Maintenance Technician to join our team at a busy recycling plant based in Penrose.
This role is ideal for a mechanically minded, hands-on individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and can adapt to the changing demands of the day.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintenance and repair of plant machinery and equipment
  • Working with hydraulic systems
  • General welding and fabrication tasks
  • Diagnosing faults and carrying out preventative maintenance
  • Supporting smooth day-to-day plant operations
What We're Looking For:
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with hydraulics and welding
  • Background in maintenance of industrial machinery (preferred)
  • A practical, "can-do" attitude
  • Ability to adapt and respond to varying daily tasks
  • Reliability and strong work ethic
