Randhawa Haulage Ltd is looking for one experienced Class 5 Truck Driver to join our team for floating runs.

  • Position: Class 5 Truck Drivers 
  • Pay Rate: $31 - $35 per hour (based on experience)
  • Location: Hamilton
  • Employment Type: Full-time (Minimum 30 hours per week)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan delivery of goods correctly so they are delivered on time. 
  • Safely drive trucks on designated routes. 
  • Supervise loading and unloading of products. 
  • Load and unload trucks when required (manual lifting may be involved) 
  • Transport fragile and heavy goods with care. 
  • Maintain and update records of all deliveries. 
  • Inspect vehicles daily for safety and cleanliness. 
  • Comply with all traffic laws and company policies. 
  • Collect delivery confirmations from customers. 
  • Report any truck defects or maintenance needs. 
  • Ensure compliance with health & safety standards. 
  • Operate forklift to load unload trucks.

Requirements:

•    Valid NZ Class 5 Driver Licence (or overseas equivalent).
•    1 year relavent work experience 
•    Ability to drive manual trucks confidently.
•    Must pass drug and alcohol testing.
•    Flexibility to work day/night shifts, weekends and early morning starts
•    Willingness to travel and stay overnight for out-of-town runs.
•    Must have Forklift and DG endorsements.
