Working days: Monday to Friday, between 8:00 AM to 8:00PM Pay range: $30.00 to $35.00

With our current Operations Manager transitioning out of the role, we are seeking a dedicated full-time, permanent Operations Manager to join our growing cleaning services company in Auckland. This position requires a commitment of at least 30 hours per week, Monday through Friday, and offers an exciting opportunity to help elevate our day-to-day operations to the next level.
The successful candidate will play a critical role in overseeing and optimizing cleaning operations across multiple sites, ensuring service quality, efficiency, and compliance with company standards.
Key Responsibilities of the role:
· Oversee day-to-day operations and job allocations of the company
· Conduct market research and competitor analysis to inform service offerings and market positioning, contributing to the strategic planning of the business.
· Negotiate contracts and manage relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure the procurement of quality cleaning supplies and equipment at competitive prices.
· Handle rostering, inventory, timesheets, and staff reporting.
· Drive efficiency and continuous improvement in operations.
· Allocate cleaning teams, equipment, and cleaning supplies based on client requirements, schedules, and budget constraints.
· Assign daily/weekly tasks to cleaning teams and monitor progress to meet deadlines and client expectations.
· Hire, manage and support cleaning supervisors/team leaders.
· Conduct performance reviews, provide constructive feedback, and address underperformance or disciplinary issues in line with company guidelines.
· Foster a positive work environment by promoting teamwork, resolving conflicts, and recognizing achievements.
· Monitor quality, safety, and compliance across all sites.
· Maintain strong client relationships and respond to queries or issues.
· To ensure that we meet the weekly and monthly budgets. Monitor expenses and revenues to ensure the business operates within set financial goals.
· Prepare and present reports on operational performance, service efficiency, and customer satisfaction to directors.
Requirements:
· At least 2 years’ experience in same industry or have a relevant level 4 qualification or above
· Strong leadership, communication, and organisation skills.
· Sound knowledge of cleaning procedures and health & safety
· Proficient in Excel/Google Sheets and general admin systems.
· Full NZ Driver’s Licence and flexibility for occasional after-hours work
