Pay Rate: $40.00 – $45.00 per hour (depending on experience and qualifications)
Job Description:
Dong Construction Limited is seeking an experienced and motivated Construction Manager to oversee and manage residential and commercial construction projects in Auckland. This role involves full project lifecycle management, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, coordinate, and manage construction projects from start to completion
- Oversee site operations and supervise subcontractors and staff
- Monitor project timelines, budgets, and resources
- Ensure compliance with building regulations, health and safety standards, and company policies
- Liaise with clients, architects, engineers, and local authorities
- Prepare and manage project documentation, reports, and schedules
- Identify and resolve any issues that may impact project delivery
Requirements:
- At least 3 years of relevant work experience, or a relevant qualification in construction management or a related field
- Strong leadership and project management skills
- Good knowledge of New Zealand building standards and health & safety regulations
- Excellent communication and organisational abilities
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
