We are looking for Store Managers to take care of the operations for our Liquor Store.

This is a full-time permanent role with a minimum of 30 hours per week gauranteed

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily store operations to ensure smooth functionality.
  • Manage stock levels, conduct inventory checks, ordering stock and ensure appropriate restocking.
  • Ensure the store is clean, organized, and visually appealing at all times.
  • Monitoring and controlling store expenses. 
  • Managing budgets, sales targets, and profit margins.
  • Handling cash registers, banking, and financial transactions.
  • Analyzing sales reports and implementing strategies to improve performance.
  • Implementing in-store promotions and advertising on other platforms such as soical media. 
  • Ensure exceptional customer service by addressing customer inquiries and resolving complaints.
  • Promote sales and upsell products where possible to maximize store profitability.
  • Train, Supervise, motivate, and guide store staffs.
  • Assign tasks to team members and ensure they are completed efficiently.
  • Enforce and ensure adherence to the Sale and Supply of Alcohol Act and other relevant regulations.
  • Address any incidents or safety concerns promptly. Ensure compliance with health and safety standards within the store.

Requirements:

  1. A relevant qualification or 2 years of reatil experience is a requirement for this role.
  2. A Bachelor’s degree in any discipline is preferred but not mandatory.
  3. Retail experience in New Zealand is advantageous but not mandatory.
  4. LCQ Certificate or Manager's Cerificate is necessary to perform the duties of this role
  5. Basic understanding of inventory and cash handling. Ability to work independently and under pressure.

Flexible to work weekends, evenings, and public holidays as required.
