We are looking for Store Managers to take care of the operations for our Liquor Store.
This is a full-time permanent role with a minimum of 30 hours per week gauranteed
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily store operations to ensure smooth functionality.
- Manage stock levels, conduct inventory checks, ordering stock and ensure appropriate restocking.
- Ensure the store is clean, organized, and visually appealing at all times.
- Monitoring and controlling store expenses.
- Managing budgets, sales targets, and profit margins.
- Handling cash registers, banking, and financial transactions.
- Analyzing sales reports and implementing strategies to improve performance.
- Implementing in-store promotions and advertising on other platforms such as soical media.
- Ensure exceptional customer service by addressing customer inquiries and resolving complaints.
- Promote sales and upsell products where possible to maximize store profitability.
- Train, Supervise, motivate, and guide store staffs.
- Assign tasks to team members and ensure they are completed efficiently.
- Enforce and ensure adherence to the Sale and Supply of Alcohol Act and other relevant regulations.
- Address any incidents or safety concerns promptly. Ensure compliance with health and safety standards within the store.
Requirements:
- A relevant qualification or 2 years of reatil experience is a requirement for this role.
- A Bachelor’s degree in any discipline is preferred but not mandatory.
- Retail experience in New Zealand is advantageous but not mandatory.
- LCQ Certificate or Manager's Cerificate is necessary to perform the duties of this role
- Basic understanding of inventory and cash handling. Ability to work independently and under pressure.

Flexible to work weekends, evenings, and public holidays as required.
