Tiling Labourer

N Veer Tiling Limited is well established Tiling contracting company operating in Lower Hutt. We specialise in tiling works for housing. 

We are looking for General / Tilers Labourers in our staff interested to get hands on experience in building work while working at position of Tilers / General Labourer within our team.

Experience is appreciated but not necessary, we can train you.

As building work is one of the challenging work, so applicants will be required to be able to Lift Heavy Materials, Work on roofs and uneven surfaces most of the time.

To compensate all this hard work we are offering very attractive hourly rate $29.66 with guaranteed minimum 30 hr work every week.

So if you are someone familiar with tools, and not afraid of hard work which pays well, we need you.

Work Includes but not Limited to:

1.     Loading and unloading building and construction materials, tools and equipment and transporting them around building sites.

2.     Erecting and dismantling temporary structures such as safety barricades and scaffolding.

3.     Using ladders, scaffolds, and other equipment to reach multi story buildings.

4.     Cleaning of site and removing any unwanted material waste and dump to on-site skip bin.

5.     Unloading materials on site.

6.     Assisting tilers in installation by moving materials during material installation.

7.     Work Vehicle cleaning and organising tools and Materials for safe transfer.

8.     Assisting in spreading and levelling soil, gravel, sand on the site and driveways, trench bottoms etc.

9.     Assisting in mixing, pouring and spreading materials such as concrete and plaster etc.

Applicants will required following:

1.     Punctual on job

2.     Trustworthy

3.     Capable of lifting heavy materials

4.     Work with a large or small crew group

5.     Not Afraid of heights or using scaffolding

6.     With no past physical injuries which can effect work performance

7.     No Criminal Record and must be able to pass drug test

8.     Must arrange own transport to and from work or hold Drivers Licence and be able to drive
