Due to our business expansion, RED2GREEN Work Solutions Limited is looking for Metal Fabricators to join our friendly team in Auckland.

 

What you will do but not limited to the following:

 

  • Studies blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine fabrication job requirements
  • Measures and marks out the size, shape and location of cutouts and joints on metal stock
  • Uses specialised tools to cut, bend or shape metal into the desired structure or product
  • Joins metal sections together by welding, bolting and riveting
  • Examines welds for width of bead, penetration and precision, and performs necessary repairs or reworks
  • Cleans and smooths welds by filing, chiselling and grinding
  • May program machinery or computer-aided fabrication tools to optimise the metal fabrication process

 

Suitable candidate will be able to demonstrate the following:

 

  • Either have at least two years of relevant experience or NZQF Level 4 qualification
  • Punctual, honest, reliable and hardworking
  • Keen to work well within a team setting
  • Great attention to details

 

What we can offer:

 

  • Full time employment: we have worksites in Auckland
  • Hourly rate: $28/hour gross - $32/hour gross
  • Hours of week per week: a minimum of 30 hours, no more than 45 hours per week depending upon site condition, from Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 6:00 pm. Over time maybe expected
