Join a well-established Auckland construction company specializing in glass design and

installation! We are hiring 3 full-time permanent Junior Welders.

Requirements: 2 years of relative expeience or have a relevant level 4 qualification or

above. Must be able to drive a manual vehicle independantly.

Pay Rate: $26-$28 per hour( based on skills)

Schedule: Monday to Sunday as scheduled

Guaranteed hours: 30 per week

1. Cutting, welding, polishing, fitting, installing metal including stainless steel or

aluminum according to blueprints or specifications;

2. Installation and onsite measuring for stainless steel or aluminum projects including

balustrades, pool fencing and canopy etc. projects;

3. Working out cut size independently and perform argon arc welding to a high standard

in order to manufacture the finished product as per customer’s sketch/drawing.

4. Operating angle grinders to prepare the parts that must be welded

5. Aligning components using calipers, rulers etc. and clamp pieces

6. Ability to shape and heat metals in accordance to drawings/sketches by using hand

and machine tools in various positions (vertical, horizontal or overhead).

7. Carrying out general maintenance of tools and machines.

8. Test and inspect welded surfaces and structure to discover flaws

9. Other relevant job duties notified by the employer.
