 Must have 2-3 years of relevant work experience OR Level 4 or higher relevant qualification
 
The stylist will have to do 30 plus hours every week, which includes weekend work too. The
employee may be offered and accept additional hours. The employee will be offered $25 to $35, depending on experience.

 Duties:-

  • The employee should provide high-quality hairdressing/barber services to clients, providing clients with advice on hair care, beauty products, and hairstyles
  • shampooing hair and conditioning scalps, colouring, straightening, and permanently waving hair with chemical solutions
  • cutting hair with scissors, clippers, and razorsstyling hair into dreadlocks and braids, and adding hair extensions-shaving and trimming beards and moustaches
  • Develop positive client relationships and aim to exceed expectations
  • Assist with a full range of tasks in the salon as needed, including making appointments, taking client payments, displaying retail products, cleaning, stock taking, and other related duties
  • Proactively promote the salon and attract new clients
  • Provide comprehensive training and orientation to new recruits when possible. Explaining how the salon works and what is required
  • Provide up-skilling for junior stylists and or supervise work experience candidates when
     possible
  • Work with other management to resolve any client complaints or any issues or conflicts with other staff
  • Comply with all health and safety policies of the employer
  • Recommend retail sales to all clients-Keep used retail units clean and presentable, with the lid on
  • Suggest extra service to all clients when applicable-Suggest retail sales to all clients when applicable
  • Encourage all Clint’s to rebook-Assist in planning and design of monthly marketing promotion
  • Undertake other duties as required for the effective operation of the business or as deemed necessary by the employer
