Our beauty parlour in Dunedin is looking for 2 experienced Nail technicians. The ideal candidate will possess solid experience or qualification in the beauty industry, artitic eyes and exceptional customer service.

Your responsibilities:

-           Consult with customer to determine their desired designs and concerns, nail treatment preferences

-           Arrange the customers to nail desk and pedicure spa chairs

-           Ensure customer comfort and safety throughout the process

-           Clean, trim, file, and repair nails

-           Remove old nail polish

-           Soften calluses, remove rough skin, and cut and push back cuticles

-           Polish and buff nails

-           Perform hand and foot massages, followed by moisturise

-           Execute artificial nail extensions, nail art drawing, gel polishing, and SNS dipping powder applications

-           Keep up-to-date with the latest trends and nail techniques

-           Build and maintain excellent customer service and strong relationships.

-           Maintain a clean and organized work area, sterilize tools, and follow proper sanitation protocols.

 

Requirements:

-       Minimum of 2 year of experience in the nail-lash or Level 4 qualification in beauty

-       Excellent artistic skills in nail and committed to be a professional skilled technician.

-       Excellent eye for detail and precision

-       Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills.

-       Ability to provide exceptional customer service and build a loyal client base.

-       Reliable and punctual, with a professional work ethic.

-       Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays. We open from 7 days/week.

We offer 30 hours a week, wage range between $25 - $30/hour and opportunity to be trained by our experienced team.
