Magemen Limited seeking a highly skilled and fast-paced Intermediate Web Developer to join our agency team. In this role, you will be the driving force behind our clients' digital storefronts, specializing in front-end development and e-commerce theme customization. Working closely with Web Designers, Business Analysts, and UX specialists, your primary focus will be bringing beautiful, high-converting Figma designs to life across various e-commerce platforms.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Figma to HTML/CSS/JS: Expertly translate complex Figma designs and UI/UX wireframes into pixel-perfect, responsive, and accessible front-end code.

  • Shopify Development: Build and customize Shopify themes from scratch or modify existing ones using Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

  • Multi-Platform E-Commerce Execution: Develop, skin, and maintain user interfaces for storefronts across Magento, WooCommerce, and BigCommerce, ensuring a consistent and optimized user experience.

  • AI-Accelerated Workflow: Leverage AI coding assistants (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor) daily to generate boilerplate code, troubleshoot CSS/JS issues, and significantly accelerate your development speed and project turnaround times.

  • Modern Front-End Frameworks: Utilize React, Next.js, and TypeScript to build fast, dynamic components and headless commerce interfaces where required.

  • Performance Optimization: Ensure all web pages are optimized for maximum speed, scalability, and cross-browser compatibility.

  • Collaboration & Quality Assurance: Work tightly with designers to ensure technical feasibility of UI/UX designs, conduct code reviews, and rigorously test user flows before deployment.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Experience: 1+ years of professional front-end web development experience, with a dedicated focus on e-commerce platforms. Entry-level candidates are very welcome to apply, provided you have an extensive portfolio showcasing your skills across e-commerce platforms (Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento, BigCommerce).

  • Design Implementation: Elite-level ability to accurately translate Figma files into high-quality, responsive web pages.

  • Core Web Technologies: Deep proficiency in modern HTML5, CSS3 (including SASS/LESS or Tailwind), and vanilla JavaScript.

  • E-Commerce Platform Expertise: * Strong hands-on experience with Shopify and Liquid templating.

    • Proven ability to build and customize front-end themes for Magento, WooCommerce, and BigCommerce.

  • Modern JavaScript: Solid working knowledge of TypeScript, React, and Next.js.

  • AI Workflow Proficiency: Required experience utilizing AI Large Language Models and coding assistants to write code faster, debug styling issues, and maximize your daily output.

  • Version Control: Proficiency with Git and standard deployment workflows.

Nice-to-Haves

  • Active certifications for major e-commerce platforms (e.g., Magento Certified Professional, Shopify Partner programs).

  • Experience with headless CMS integrations (e.g., Sanity, Contentful) and headless commerce architectures.

  • Familiarity with basic PHP as it relates to modifying WordPress/WooCommerce or Magento template files.
