What we’re looking for
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- NZQF Level 4 relevant trade qualification with at least 6 months of hands-on experience, OR a minimum of 3 years’ scaffolding experience
- Experience on large-scale or complex construction projects (preferred)
- A current NZ Scaffolding Ticket or Scaffolding Certificate of Competence (SARNZ) or internationally recognised equivalent
- Physically fit, reliable, and confident working at heights
- Strong work ethic and a positive team player attitude
- A full or restricted New Zealand driver’s licence is acceptable, and support will be provided to assist you in obtaining a full licence. (Class 2 Truck Licence preferred)
- Willingness to travel for work, including overnight stays
- Ability to work night shifts when required
What you’ll be doing
- Erecting and dismantling scaffolding systems on construction and industrial sites
- Loading and unloading scaffolding equipment at yards and job sites
- Constructing safe and stable scaffold bases and working platforms
- Identifying hazards and defects and ensuring all work complies with health and safety requirements
