Dessert Shop Manager

We are currently seeking a reliable and full-time Dessert Shop Manager to join our dessert shop. The starting pay rate will be from $30 to $36 per hour, depending on skills and experience, for a minimum of 30 hours per week. In this role, you will be responsible for a wide range of duties,
including:

• Manage the overall daily operations of the dessert shop to ensure smooth workflow, efficient service, and a high standard of customer experience.
• Supervise, coordinate, and support staff, including preparing rosters, allocating duties, monitoring performance, and providing training and guidance.
• Ensure a high standard of customer service by handling customer enquiries, complaints, and
  feedback promptly and professionally.
• Coordinate with kitchen staff, baristas, and front-of-house team members to ensure the efficient preparation, presentation, and service of desserts and beverages.
• Monitor stock levels and arrange the ordering of ingredients, packaging, and other supplies required for daily operations.
• Assist with pricing, cost control, sales monitoring, and other measures to support the profitability of the business.
• Update and maintain the shop’s online ordering platform and website content, process online orders, and support promotional and social media activities to increase revenue.
• Ensure compliance with food hygiene, health and safety, and other relevant operational requirements, and carry out any other duties reasonably required by the employer consistent with the role.

To be successful in this role, you should:

• Minimum two years of relevant work experience in hospitality, café, restaurant, or dessert shop management. Alternatively, a relevant qualification;
• Have the ability to follow health and safety procedures and guidelines;
• Good staff supervision and team coordination skills;
• Good customer service and communication skills;
• Fluent in English;
• Must be available to work late (10 pm) every Thursday, Friday and Saturday;
• Must be able to work through the Christmas month;
• Applicants must have no criminal convictions and must pass a drug test.
