NK Carriers Limited is seeking a dependable, efficient Personal Assistant to join its team in the Auckland region. The role involves supporting day-to-day administrative tasks, managing schedules, and assisting with core operational duties within the courier services business. This position plays a key role in coordinating communication within the team, handling time-sensitive tasks, and ensuring smooth and timely business operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the Director’s calendar, including meetings, appointments, travel arrangements, and call coordination.
  • Provide day-to-day administrative support to ensure efficient business operations.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for all communications on behalf of the Director, including emails, phone calls, and written correspondence.
  • Maintaining records and supporting internal coordination.
  • Prepare, review, and organise business documents, reports, and presentations.
  • Communicate effectively with drivers, customers, suppliers, and other external parties to maintain clear and professional interactions.
  • Maintain accurate electronic and physical filing systems, including transport, compliance, and regulatory documentation.
  • Monitor business expenses, process invoices, and assist with basic accounting and payroll tasks.
  • Coordinate vehicle servicing and compliance requirements, including WOF/COF renewals and fleet-related documentation.
  • Track pending tasks and follow up on instructions to ensure deadlines and priorities are met.
  • Provide general administrative and operational support as required for daily business needs.

The candidate will be required to work at least 30 hours per week and be paid between $30 and $40 per hour, subject to skills and requirements.

Other important requirements:

  • A minimum of 2 years’ relevant industry experience, or a relevant Level 6 qualification in the field of Business/Arts/Management/Communication/Commerce.
  • Strong organisational abilities with proven capability to manage multiple priorities.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
