About the Company:

Meng and Associates Limited is an accounting and taxation firm which founded in 2014. It is currently based in Auckland Central. With business growth, we are currently seeking a Senior Accountant to join our team. This is a permanent full-time role with an immediate start date. You will be paid at a reasonable market rate. To be considered as a member of Meng and Associates Limited you will need to demonstrate the following skills:

Required skills and experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree or above, majoring in accounting
  • Preferable CA or CPA qualified
  •  Experience in consulting service for cross boarder clients and international tax compliance service 
  • Experience in engaging high profile clients
  • Experience in team management is preferable
  • Excellent time management and client service skills
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  •  Fluent in English and Mandarin as you need to communicate with 90% clients in Chinese

Job Responsibilities:

  • To involve in preparing financial reports, cashflow, forecast reports and tax returns for clients
  • To  provide consulting on business valuation and related advisory services
  • To provide consulting services and assist clients in meeting reporting requirements, liaising with their auditor, and responding to audit inquiries.
  • To build strong working relationships with senior clients, including influencing, advising and supporting key decisions 
  • To review financial statements or tax returns 
  • To grow overseas business (mainly in Chinese market) and explore further opportunities in this area

 Other details regarding the job: 

  • Location: office at 175 Queen Street, Auckland Central and online 
  • Standard Hours: 35-40 hours per week depending on workload 
  • Remuneration: Competitive market rates, with consideration of prior experience. Approximately $35-$40 per hour, depending on experience and skills
