About the Company:
Meng and Associates Limited is an accounting and taxation firm which founded in 2014. It is currently based in Auckland Central. With business growth, we are currently seeking a Senior Accountant to join our team. This is a permanent full-time role with an immediate start date. You will be paid at a reasonable market rate. To be considered as a member of Meng and Associates Limited you will need to demonstrate the following skills:
Required skills and experience:
- Bachelor’s degree or above, majoring in accounting
- Preferable CA or CPA qualified
- Experience in consulting service for cross boarder clients and international tax compliance service
- Experience in engaging high profile clients
- Experience in team management is preferable
- Excellent time management and client service skills
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Fluent in English and Mandarin as you need to communicate with 90% clients in Chinese
Job Responsibilities:
- To involve in preparing financial reports, cashflow, forecast reports and tax returns for clients
- To provide consulting on business valuation and related advisory services
- To provide consulting services and assist clients in meeting reporting requirements, liaising with their auditor, and responding to audit inquiries.
- To build strong working relationships with senior clients, including influencing, advising and supporting key decisions
- To review financial statements or tax returns
- To grow overseas business (mainly in Chinese market) and explore further opportunities in this area
Other details regarding the job:
- Location: office at 175 Queen Street, Auckland Central and online
- Standard Hours: 35-40 hours per week depending on workload
- Remuneration: Competitive market rates, with consideration of prior experience. Approximately $35-$40 per hour, depending on experience and skills
